Optical Systems

 

Our expertise. iMEX.A can examine problems of different kinds in optics, with optical components design and experimental setups and work out the correct solution with quality and performance optimisation. To this end, commercial software is also employed.

Upon request, prototypes can be designed according to customer's needs.

Applications. Design of optical instrumentation and optical setups: thin films, lasers, optics.

Characterisation of an optical setup: light polarisation, linear and non-linear response of semiconductors, lens design, aberration, colorimetry.

Our experience. iMEX.A consultants are experienced in optical experimental setup building for interferometry, spectrometry and mise en pratique of the meter (realisation of the national length standard). They also evaluated, at the National Institute of Metrological Research (iNRiM), the effect of light polarisation on interferometry systems.
